Navo POS

The product where my tea shop years and my software years meet: a POS built for the pace of real work, not the cleanliness of a demo.

01 / Overview

The short
version.

The product where my tea shop years and my software years meet: a POS built for the pace of real work, not the cleanliness of a demo.

Before I built software full time, I ran Suruppa Chiya. That experience left me with a very specific test for business tools: can they survive a queue, a rush, patchy connectivity, and a team that has no time to read a manual?

Navo POS is a point-of-sale product I contribute to equally as part of Navo Cloud Solutions. My work sits across product thinking and engineering: how the counter feels, how the kitchen receives an order, how stock and sales stay honest, and how the system gets out of the way when the shop is busy.

It is a product built with empathy for operators. The best POS interaction is not the cleverest one. It is the one a cashier can repeat a thousand times without thinking.

02 / Focus

Where the
work lived.

  • Product thinking for real operators
  • Counter and kitchen workflows
  • Reliable transaction flows
  • Clear information design
  • Operational empathy

04 / Takeaway

What I
kept.

The best interface for a busy counter is the one that disappears. Operational empathy beats visual cleverness.
